Cassandra Owens has an impressive career in Student Support Services, having worked at several colleges and universities. One of her greatest achievements was becoming the Chaplain at Rust College in Holly Springs, MS. Notably, she was the first full-time Chaplain in 20 years and the first female Chaplain in the institution's history. Currently, she serves at Lane College in Jackson, TN, as Faculty Chair, Department Chair, and Assistant Professor of Religion. She is also a member of the Lane College Board of Trustees, a Past Faculty Athletic Representative, and an active participant in numerous committees.
